Consultant Dermatologist & Clinical Lead
Consultant Dermatologist and Clinical Lead for the Dermatology Department at Northampton General Hospital. Dr Salako qualified from the College of Medicine at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and completed specialist training in Wales and Birmingham before undertaking paediatric dermatology subspecialty training at Birmingham Children's Hospital. With extensive experience across all skin types and races, he provides comprehensive management of skin conditions in both adult and paediatric populations. Dr Salako also serves as Honorary Lecturer leading Special Senses teaching for Year 4 medical students from Leicester University and is the Medical Director for Omnes Healthcare's dermatology services. Beyond clinical practice, he operates a mole mapping service using computer-assisted photography and digital photo-dermoscopy for comprehensive skin cancer surveillance. Dr Salako is committed to treating all patients with dignity, respect, and professional compassion.
